Isaiah 6

Isaiah 6:5-7

“Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of people with unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of Hosts!” Then flew one of the seraphim to me, having in his hand a burning coal which he had taken with tongs from the altar. And then be touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin is forgiven.”

Many times Satan take Christ-followers and fills their heads with the thoughts of insufficient holiness. For ALL have sinned and fallen short. If you have guilt from a previous mistake that is enabling you to serve The Lord because of your feelings of inadequacy, the first step is confession. Confession frees a human sinner. Sin and guilt is removed; purification follows shortly after confession. Then comes a spiritual sensitivity to The Lord and His desired plans for your life. Isaiah was troubled by guilt of his sin. Satan had told him lies just like he does to all of us. And sometimes we lose sight of the fact that we are SAVED. We have been redeemed and brought out of bondage and brokenness. Do not allow guilt to enable you from carrying out Gods will for your life. YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. Mission trips, welcome committee, worship team, leader, teacher, mentor. Do not allow self-doubt to tell you that you are not equipped.

“And I heard the voice of The Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am! Send me!'” Isaiah 6:8
